Fashion – Not quite Timberlands

That iconic yellow suede boot… I’ve been obsessed with hiking/worksite boots since high school and have owned many a variation.  The last time this obsession took me over was when it was all the rage to wear Colorado boots with boot cut jeans and hang out at the mall on Friday nights…  They still live in the back of my cupboard and weigh about 10kgs!  The variation I’m wearing today is a boot/sneaker hybrid by Naughty Monkey and much more practical than my blister inducing Colorado’s!

With the tough look of the traditional work boot but with the cushiony softness designed for fashionista’s who have never stepped foot on a work site, these babies are designed with street style in mind.  I’ve kept styling masculine today with boyfriend jeans, leather biker jacket and one of my husbands plain white tees.  Of course I’ve left my laces undone as tying your shoe laces is too mainstream, LOL (joking, they were comfier undone)!!

Lastly I apologies for the silence on the blogging front lately.  I’m in my last semester of my post-grad studies and am really REALLY looking forward to never studying again.  Having a baby and studying is impossible, hence blogging has taken a back seat.  I’m hoping to get out and about after my exams and produce some new photos for you guys and make a mini comeback so don’t go too far!
