Crochet is generally associated with doilies and teapot warmers found at Nanna’s house. One thing you won’t find (hopefully!) at your Nanna’s house is this pair of crochet beach pants. Bohemian chic and well ventilated, these flirty pants are the perfect cover-up to throw on over you swimmers after a day at the beach.
Inspiration came from Sydney Fashion Blogger who showed off her incredible booty last week in these incredible Seafolly pants (available here for $169.95). While I certainly have not been blessed with such a squat-tastic ass, I was able to steal her look for a fraction of the price with a similar pair from Coles. You heard me, the Mix Apparel brand available at selected Coles supermarkets!
The new bub has been preventing me from browsing clothing stores however on my last run for milk and bread I caught a glimpse of these Mix Apparel pants. This line is the first supermarket fashion label in Australia and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have some very fashion forward, affordable items. These pants were a fraction of the price of the Seafolly version, costing me only $25.00. You can’t keep a good fashion addict down!
I’ve teamed the pants with this jungle print bikini from Trade Secret. You know you have an addiction to swimwear when even a post-pregnancy body won’t stop you from purchasing your 34th bikini!! I’m a sucker for a well fitting swimsuit, I just can’t help myself!
