I love the sandy warm tones of browns, camels and beiges… it is a very suitable colour palette that matches my skin and hair. I styled this look with the express purpose of getting away from all the black I’ve been wearing of late and what a wonderful change, it felt good!
Aside from the watch and jeans, most of this outfit is made up of new purchases from recent end of financial year sales. There were some great bargains to be had, the felt hat was $10 (down from $20) and bucket bag was $20 (down from $40) from Target. This is now the 3rd bucket bag I own and is turning into a real obsession… or collection!
The relaxed fit top is from Dotti and makes for a wonderful basic, great for layer over and under items and made from a lovely soft and breathable light knit, I picked up a few of these in different colours for $20 (down from $30).
And lets just take a moment to appreciate my killer suede and buckle heels, on sale for only $50 (from $200) by Tony Bianco. Admittedly walking in these babies is fairly impossible at the moment due to the 6kg bum bag attached to my front however I couldn’t resist taking them out for a short test drive last weekend.
Lastly my assortment of jewellery is from Lovisa for a few dollars a piece. I’m currently loving small details in rings and necklaces rather than the big bold statements we have seen in the past. It is much more wearable and adds a subtle sophistication to any outfit.
