Fashion – Happy Schnapper for Karen Millen Pt 2

With the madness that was Fashfest and now the lead up to uni assignments and finals my regular outfit posts have been somewhat neglected… I will make up for it all next month I swear!!

In the meantime here is the long overdue “Part 2” of my collaboration with Karen Millen (Part 1 here) and as you can see this outfit is something totally different from the designer.  A far cry from the bodycon corporate tailoring that we are used to, Karen Millen’s AW 14 collection features some very street savvy pieces.  Autumn Winter sees a more stripped back approach focusing on casual clothes and separates such as the denim and leather ranges, still with the signature attention to detail, creativity and craftsmanship that the brand is famous for.  This collection is a big shift in direction for the fashion giant who is now embracing the trend of comfort and more relaxed dressing.

Today’s outfit features two key trends this winter – Roll neck knits and heavy tartans… both done to perfection by KM.
