Tight Ass Tuesday – Bright days, bright dresses

Neon melon is what I call this colour and this retina burning hue is so flattering on tanned skin.  I strategically wore this dress to the National Multicultural Festival over the weekend due to it’s loose flowing cut (I switched to flats before heading out!).  I cinched in the waist with a belt for a more figure defining silhouette but was fully prepared to remove it in the highly likely circumstance of over-eating…

Shift cut dresses are perfect on people with willowy frames, the way the dress falls straight down offers a softness with only a hint of femininity underneath.  This is one of the rare circumstances where smaller busts work better.  I like to take it to the next level and wear a sports crop underneath for an even more streamlined look.
