Tight Ass Tuesday – Kimono

Being an Asian girl growing up in a small coastal town in Tassie all I wanted was to fit in.  I went through a stage where I refused everything that identified me as Asian.  This included chopsticks, maths, piano lessons and bicycles!  There certainly would have been no way that I would wear a kimono.

I am absolutely loving this vintage inspired kimono style jacket.  It’s a great summer cover up and is so light and comfortable to wear and I think embodies the spirit of balmy nights and afternoons in the sun.  As the kimono is so billowy and bold I’ve kept the rest of my silhouette close fitting and subtle with staple basics and just a pop of orange to pull it all together.
