Mens Style – Mismatched charm

This is Goldie, my man date #2 to the ball I recently attended.

Unlike Coolio (man date #1), Goldie has opted for an unconventional formal look by ditching the full suit and opting for mis-matched coordinates.  This is a very brave and experimental move for a man, I’m so very proud of Goldie’s fashion evolution over the last few months!

By opting for a lighter colour jacket it was important to maintain the formality of this outfit by paying close attention to accessories.  Goldie has chosen a to wear a matching bowtie and pocket square combo that tie in well with the colour of his trousers as well as a fresh flower lapel pin to add that extra flair.  Where his outfit could have been classed as smart casual in other contexts the attention to detail has raised it to acceptable “ball attire” while setting him apart from other guests with a casual country boy charm which exudes youth and energy.

Goldie wears:

Shirt by Van Heusen
Bowtie and pocket square by Witchery Man
