August 2013 Lust List

The Lace Up Sandal
… as I raved about in my previous post!  I’m crushing hard on the Gillie heels by Windsor Smith, not only for their sex appeal but also for their affordable price tag – $139.94 available here.

Gillie by Windsor Smith – $139.95

Stone Jewellery

I’m loving raw cut stone jewellery. The unfinished texture of the stone coupled with a polished metal setting just balances out so well allowing the pieces to be worn casually or dressed up to the nines.  It reminds me of a much more fashion forward version of Inner Harmony (old school Canberrans will remember this place) or those mystic crystal shops you find down at the coast!

  – $47.90

This item will not remain on the lust list long as it’s free but I just wanted to share my new favourite app!
It’s no secret that I’m a compulsive list maker and I forever have Post It notes drifting sound in my handbag reminding me to buy carrots or pay bills or call the dentist.  This app will reduce all those scrappy Post Its and replace them with a simple, fun and easy version of my to do list.

Do! – Free from the Apple App Store 🙂

The True Believer Dress
THIS DRESS.  I am head over heels in love.  The print, the fit, the cut out in the back.  I must have it…  One of the many dresses from the Sheike Spring collection that is going to send me broke.

True Believer Dress by Shieke – $149.95

Wrist Watch
Whilst travelling I really made full use of my wrist watch.  In fact a holiday is the only real time I wear a watch…  So on my lust list this month are two very different watches

I love Daniel Wellington watches for their sheer classic simplicity.  No fuss, no bling, just a sophisticated clean cut watch that can be worn on it’s own or easily matched up with a bunch of arm candy.

Daniel Wellington Watch – Classic St. Andrews – Ladies – Rose gold – $225

I found from wearing a watch daily I got the most horrendous tan line on my wrist.  Breo’s watches are water and sweat resistant and their low profile bands will keep those tan lines to a minimum.  A perfect watch for the active types.  Oh, and did I mention they come in every colour of the rainbow?

The Carry All Tote

Regardless of what I have planned on a particular day I always seem to be carrying a canvas tote of some sort.  Now I have made it my mission to avoid those handy supermarket bags at all costs however a canvas bag is not much further up the fashion evolutionary ladder.

The two totes that I am lusting after have a wide structured base which is perfect for storing my lunch box, gym shoes or uni texts, the large opening allows large items such as jumpers to be stuffed in there and the straps are long enough to wear on your arm or shoulder.  So versatile, I must add one of these to my collection!

The Michael Kors Jet Set Saffiano Travel Tote is sleek and versatile, also reasonably priced.

Available at Neiman Marcus for $330

And for those who have a more generous budget I’m also loving the Alexander Wang Prisma tote with it’s cute corner detailing….

Net-a-Porter for $826
