February Lust List

I’ve always got some sort of list going… To do, to buy, to eat, to read, to watch…  I thought I would start sharing some of wish list items with you guys, just in case you win the Lotto and need to blow some cash on your good friend Happy Schnapper!

I know it’s only February however I love Winter fashion and am already eyeing off my key pieces for next season.

  • A floppy felt hat – preferrably in my Autumn ‘IT’ colour oxblood.
  • A khaki parka – wool and fur lined because I am miserable when I’m cold.  An over-sized parka will be a great addition to my wardrobe as a casual winter coat that can be thrown over anything.
  • Leather skater skirt – This cut always make your legs look longer and in leather will speak to the edgy, street style trend of the coming season.
  • Embellished boots – will be HUGE this season and a flat style will be perfect for winter weekend adventures.

As I will be travelling with some of my best friends next month some luxe travel items are on my radar.  Being a follower of many a world famous blogger, they all seem to be jet setting at the moment for NYFW and all do it in style.  I usually travel in trackpants and hoodie for comfort however just one time I’d like to look like this when I fly…

I don’t know how celebrities look so great after a long haul flight.  Do they have a secret change room that they change in before contronting the paps?  I dunno but I have complete admiration for this skill.

My surroundings drastically affect my mood.  When my house it s mess it makes me stressed out which is not what I need when already stressed by uni!  This month candles are thing.  They are decorative and fragrant and calming when lit, offering your room a touch of romance and peace.

One of my favourite candles (for fragrance rather than appearance) is actually from Woolies!  Forget all those fancy vegan-soy-organic candles, the Glade range focus on delicious scents that really revive your mood and brighten a room.  The US range have really amazing scents such as creamy custard with blushing apple, apple cinnamon, moonlit walk and wandering stream!  The last one makes me giggle.

My personal favourite from the range that is available in Australia
